John and I are so very sorry to learn of the passing of your Mother. June was our Realtor and helped us find a home. She and Don were a very special couple and they were so very proud of their two beautiful daughters. God’s special blessings to you all, her family. It was a honor to have known her.
Grace and Rosie I am sorry for your loss. Im sure your parents are dancing in heaven!
We remember seeing you last at burger king in canandaigua ny. Barry and I are sending prayers God Bless you both, stay in touch,
June and I have a strong connection because of her Grandparent’s home, which we both have loved! I was just getting to know June, since last fall when my son & his wife decided to sell the home, where he was raised. I am thrilled that the “Bessie & Leon Holcomb, Fine View Farm”, in Bristol is returned to her family.
(My parents, Lewis and Naomi Scott were friends with the Holcomb family, since the 1950’s, when Dad was the minister at the Baptist Hill church. Lew & Naomi bought the home from the Holcomb family in 1975 and continued using it as a Three-Generation home, but with a different configuration.)
It was such a pleasure to visit & correspond with June because we each knew different segments of history about Fine View Farm. June shared a lot of vitality and warm memories during our brief acquaintance
I am sure June will be missed. My sincere Condolences and Deepest Sympathy to all her friends and family!
Blessings,
Karen

June was a lovely human. Forever missed but never forgotten
June radiated warmth, and I was lucky to be her friend. We worked together at the New York State OPWDD, from which I retired almost four years ago. We continued our friendship after I retired and shared, lunches, movies, and a few bus trips. The one longer trip we took was to Boston, and places north of Boston. We especially enjoyed the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum, Salem (site of the famous witch trials in the 1600’s), and Concord, where we were shown the site of the first shot fired in the Revolutionary War. Of course, we enjoyed Boston proper as well. We also took a number of one-day trips to places such as Niagara-on-the Lake, Canada (where we saw a play at the Shaw Festival), the Thousand Islands (where we took a boat tour and visited Boldt Castle), and at least a couple of other one-day trips in New York State. We had also planned a longer trip to the Maritime Provinces in Canada, but the trip has been cancelled for several years due to the pandemic. June enjoyed the trips we took tremendously, and I will miss her not only as a friend, but also a travelling companion.
My deepest sympathy goes out to all her family. June will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
