Chili: Rev. Scott E. McNaney, 71 years, of Lexington Parkway, Chili, NY (Rochester, NY) died suddenly at his home on Wednesday, November 17, 2010. He was born in Elmira, NY, May 21, 1939, the son of Edward and Frances Kellogg McNaney. He graduated from high school in 1957 in Canton, PA. He served his country in the US Navy from 1957 through 1961. Scott graduated from Eureka College in Illinois and received his Masters Degree from Christian Theological Seminary. Recent pastoral assignments included the United Church of Christ, Castile, NY and currently he has been serving the First Presbyterian Church of Livonia for the past several years.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Lee (Leliah) Spencer McNaney; children, Michael (Halle) McNaney of Livonia and Kathlene McNaney of Indianapolis, Indiana; granddaughter, Caitlin McNaney; brother, Gary McNaney of Chicago, IL; brother-in-law, Gary (Kay) Spencer of Sarver, PA; nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend Funeral Services Monday 11 AM at St. Matthews Church, Route 20A, Livonia. Private Interment.
