  2. Dear Maryann and family,
I am so sorry to read about Guy. I have sweet memories of Guy growing up. He would tag along with you, Maryann, when you came to babysit me and my siblings. You needed all the help he could give you when you were trying to care for seven of us. We always knew Guy’s sweet smile really meant more than a smile. When he was there, all he had to do was smile and we calmed down! No wonder you married this wonderful man with the sweet smile! XO

  3. Although Guy was a quiet man he will be deeply missed in our little neighborhood. We always enjoyed seeing him zip around the yard on his riding lawn mower. We have enjoyed being neighbors and will be pleased to help with anything Mary Ann should need. Condolences to Mary Ann, Gary, Carol and all of his family.

  4. Dear Carol and family,
We are so very sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. Gary’s post is a great remembrance of who he was. Carol would always let us know how he was doing when we got together for coffee. Our thoughts and prayers are for you all.
    Rest In Peace, Guy.

  6. GUY WAS A SPECIAL PERSON.HE WAS MY BROTHER,GROWING UP TOGETHER WAS GREAT. WE HAD OUR LITTLE TIFFS BUT ALWAYS GOT SETTLED WHEN OUR DAD STEPPED IN.I REMEMBER ONE TIME WE WERE HAVING A LITTLE GO AROUND,AND RAN IN THE BARN AT GRAMMA’S HOUSE, THE DOOR OPENED OUT AND HE INSIDE HOLDING THE HANDLE AND I WAS OUTSIDE, TRYING TO OPEN IT.HE FINALLY LET GO AND IT HIT ME ON THE NOSE AND BROKE IT.BUT NO MATTER WHAT, HEWAS MY BIG BROTHER AND ALWAYS HAD MY BACK.I LOVED YOU VERY MUCH GUY,I HOPE YOU KNOW THAT, AND WILL BE MISSED VERY MUCH. R. I.P.

  7. You may say, “I knew who he was, but I didn’t really know him.” Let me share just a few things. Dad was old-school Italian. He like to hunt burdock to make cardoons and dandelions to make patties. Dad loved sweets, lemon meringue, cherry and peach pies were his favorites. The western was his preferred movie genre, particularly John Wayne and Audie Murphy. Country-western music was his favorite with a fondness for Dolly Parton. He enjoyed the Dady Brothers, too. Dad was a big Buffalo Bills fan and he’d cheer for Josh Allen. Dad loved work, but more than anything else he was a thinker, he liked to figure things out then dive in. Without a doubt, dad could be stubborn, but he was a good man and I enjoyed his company. I’ll miss him the rest of my life.
