Livonia: Oct. 1, 2010 at age 85 years. Predeceased by his wife Betty Briggs and grandaughter Faith Briggs. Survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Charles “Steve” (Marilyn) Briggs of WV, Betty (Jim) Ebersold of Hemlock, Ira Briggs of Hemlock, Donald (Amy) Briggs of Livonia,Jeffrey (Latoya) Makeham of NJ, Gordon (Susan) Laidlaw of Geneseo, Grace (Robert) Wood of Bristol, Sharon (Allen) Lis of Honeoye, Kristine (Mark) Wilson of Livonia. 20 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.many foster siblings. Larry had many special people in his life, 5 of which he called his sons and loved them as he did his own. They are Craig Deats, Bubs Pribanich, Barry Folts, Charlie Ruggles and Bob Bush.

Larry was also involved in many clubs, some of which include: Genessee Valley Antique Car (GVAC) – member for 50 years, Honeoye – Hemlock American Legion post 1278 – member for 50 years, Antique Automobile Club of America, Veterans of Battle of the Buldge, Hemlock Lake Union Agricultural Society, Founding Father of Livingston Antique Car Club, Charter member of both the New York Steam Engine Assoc. and Pioneer Gas Engine Assoc., Longtime member of the Hemlock Fire Dept. , Veterans of Foreign Wars, Hemlock Sportsmans Club, & the Honeoye Chamber of Commerce.
