  1. My condolences to Linda and family on Terry’s passing. We lived next to each other in the late 60’s and you were wonderful neighbors. We took our first born sons on walks together and Terry rode home on a snowmobile in a snowstorm and checked in on us to make sure we were ok. I’m so sorry for your loss.

  8. Being Terry’s neighbor for the last 24 years has been a privilege. He always gave freely of his time, always offering to help if we needed it, and always had time to chat. We’ll miss him driving by the house double clutching it to rev up the engine – it always made us laugh, and we admired him living his best life!

  9. I feel very forunate to have had Terry for my friend. He was always there for me no matter what I needed. I look around my apartment and see all the projects that Terry did for me . Putting up shelves on my livivg room wall, hanging up pictues and building a base for my recliner. I wil miss my friend. My heart felt condolences to Linda and family

  10. So, so sorry to hear of the passing of Terry (George).
I’ve been his next door neighbor for 21 years now. From Day One, he helped me with big things and little. (Whether it be in providing an electrical outlet; a garden hose; plowing my driveway before I got my own Tractor; Jason, Terry and I felling some border trees; and those legendary Bon-Fires in the back yard.)
A wonderful sense of humor and quick wit, you knew from the very beginning that you could joke with him AND share real concerns with him.
He was so meticulous w/ his yard chores and the legendary use of the pressure washer and weed whacker and leaf blower. 😉
Right to the last days on earth, he was always lending a hand. ~4wks ago, I was trying to SOLO manhandle some “new to me” furniture into my house, when “like an angel” here comes Terry strolling across the lawn asking me if I needed HELP. …which I did….and he did.
He was equally strong in his physical ability and to mentally/emotionally keep it real in conversations.
We are all missing a Great Person and Friend. I’m proud to have known him…and will look fondly to my North when I mow my lawn or care for my trees….not to mention that every time I see a Skeleton, I will think of “George in the passenger seat”. 😉

  11. Terry was a great neighbor but more importantly a wonderful friend who was like family. He was always there for me no matter what issue came up and was always good to share a laugh. There’s not much on my farm terry didn’t have a hand in from building garden fences, planting and mowing to helping with the horses at times, he taught me a great deal. All the animals , especially Ellie loved him as they could sense his loving heart. I will truly miss him and I am grateful for the years of friendship that we had. Much love and prayers for Linda and family.

  22. Terry was the most wonderful friend and neighbor you could ask for in this world! His generosity of spirit was evident every day of the 21 years we lived across the street from him. Linda and Terry helped us raise our family in many ways. Dee and I were blessed to be their friends and part of their extended family. The world is a little less wonderful with my “big brother”, Terry gone.

  23. I’ve known Terry for many years. He always greeted you with a smile and the standard question asking how I and my family were doing. He didn’t ask to be polite he genuinely wanted to know. He will be missed.
