South Lima: At age 63, Rod passed suddenly on September 22, 2020. He was born on January 1, 1957 in Syracuse, NY to parents Roderick E. and Fern (Ferguson) Henry. Predeceased by his mother Fern and brother Steven Henry. Survived by his wife of 16 years, Jill (Springstead) Henry and his children; Carrie Ann and Rod; grandchildren, Aley (James) Risley, Katryna Perry, and John Kinney; his father Roderick (Nancy) Henry of Montana and his step-mother Shirley Curran of Arkansas; very dear siblings, Keith Henry of Montana and Kristin Taylor of Arkansas; also survived by many other family and friends.
Rod worked as a factory parts and service representative for Chrysler Corporation for many years. He also was the former Highway Superintendent for the Town of Locke, NY. He enjoyed drag racing, tractor pulls, and was a skilled mechanic. He will be sorely missed.
A Memorial Service to Celebrate Rod’s Life will be held in the future. Rod, you have been not only like a brother, but was one of my closest and trusted friends.
You never let your health or anything else keep you down, you always came back like a lion, until this last battle. I’m going miss you, along with you bear hugs, so much more.

Jill, I was so happy to have met Rod at the shop. He was a true friend to my brother. I enjoyed our conversations over the visits I made to the shop.
