Rosemary (Callahan) Beikirch “Rose” ~ September 16, 2020

Conesus Lake: At age 88, Rose passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Highland Hospital in Rochester. She was born in Rochester, NY to the late Martin and Clara Callahan.  Rose is predeceased by her sister; Jean Schaumloeffel and her brother; Robert Callahan.  Survived by her beloved husband of 68 years; William J. Beikirch, her children; James (Meg) Beikirch, Daniel (Marie) Beikirch, Laurie (Michael) Serpe, her grandchildren; Ryan (Julia) Beikirch, Morgan (Peter) Savino, Kyle (Sarah) Beikirch, Jessica (Griffin) Alford, Kelsie Beikirch, Rachel Serpe, Lyndsay Serpe, her sister-in-law; Caryll Beikirch, her great grandchildren, Sophie, Emma, Rowan, Charlotte, Eleanor, Kieran, and Camdan, along with several nieces and nephews.

Rose gave tirelessly of herself to others.  Whether it was taking care of her family or volunteering for over 20 years at Monroe Community Hospital. She worked for Eastman Kodak Company for 10 years where she retired.  Rose loved making cookies, reading, and saying the rosary, however nothing could come close to the love she had for her family.  Rose was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, she will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 12PM at St. Matthew’s Church, 6591 Richmond Mills Road in Livonia. Interment will immediately follow Mass at St. Michael’s Cemetery on Shelly Road in Livonia. Memorial Contributions may be made to:  The Teresa House, 21 Highland Rd, Geneseo, NY 14454.   10. What a loss! Please accept my deepest condolences and I am so grateful to have the family memories growing up. I always looked up to your family and her and Grandma Jean were two of the finest women on this planet. I’m so grateful that they both had so much faith and they are together again.
