  1. On behalf of the Trescott family, I want to thank my family, Dougherty’s, and the South Livonia UCC as well as the community at large for the support, caring condolensces and recollections of my Mom. She was indeed a great lady that cared about this community, and always had a kind word. She was a role model for how to live a life fully and completely and will be sorely missed.

  2. Dear Family and Friends of Eleanor,
I attended Livonia Central School a year or so behind Eleanor. We knew one another well, of course. In fact, Eleanor married my Classmate, Don Trescott. My wife was Isabella Howitt from Conesus. She also attended Livonia Central. So, we were pleased when Eleanor occasionally attended Isabella’s monthly class gatherings held at Leisures in Lakeville. Howard Wood was one of Isabella’s classmates. He, and a small group from the Class of ’48, kept these wonderful meetings alive at least until on into the first decade of 2000. We were just one happy family of the 40’s from Livonia Central who shared the common bond of growing up together.
As one of the fortunate ones who shared that era, and the seventy odd years beyond, with Eleanor, I too share the sadness of family and friends who must say goodbye Eleanor.

  3. My name is Joanne Heinsler my daughter is Jadelynne Heinsler. She just graduated with Danielle in 2020. I remember this woman. I think she may have came to spaghetti dinners that I worked at some times at my church. Our severe condolences to the family. Deepest sympathies. Our thoughts and prayers are with family/friends. Sorry for your loss. She will be missed. Peace be with you.

  4. Although I could not physically help out serving the dinners, I could always look forward to the phone call from Eleanor for 2# of butter, 6 cans of green beans and 2 jars of bread and butter pickles or peel 10# of potatoes. then the calls stopped. I asked of another Church member and they told be Eleanor was no longer organizing them and her health was not so good. I was sad to hear this. I will miss her smile and wry sense of humor. She was a big part of South Livonia Church forever, if not in presence, in thoughts. My sympathy to all the family for their loss of a beautiful person.

  5. Bless her – what a truly wonderful lady she was. I enjoyed and will miss the time we had together. Livonia has lost another pillar. Fly high Mrs. Trescott – till we meet again.

  6. I have many fond memories of Eleanor, including her many wind chimes, and that wonderful player piano. She always had a friendly smile and a kind word. My condolences to the family.

  7. Dear Family,

My sincere sympathy to you all. Your Mom was one of my all-time favorite Livonians. Our families grew up on Linden Street, she wallpapered many of our homes and we could always count on seeing her at church functions. She had an infectious laugh and beautiful spirit. I’m so grateful to have had her influence in my life and to call her a lifelong friend.

For me your Mom epitomizes the Greatest Generation here in Livonia. She is, and will remain, an inspiration to me. I hope your warm memories will give you much comfort in the days ahead.

    Blessings to you all.
    Lou
