  1. I had the very special honor of knowing Tom, from Lenox Hill, in NYC. He impacted those around him, in such a unique and positive way! I know people’s health and happiness improved because of this! (Mind certainly did.) I feel so blessed to have known Tom then and later on. He was a true “one of a kind,” and he is greatly missed!

  2. I discovered this wonderful man when sitting on the park bench walking my dogs in Northport. We would meet there many times and talk of music, politics and life. He was a special person and I am honored to have known him, I will miss seeing him in the park, Music awaits you forever. Well done Thomas.

  3. Rest in peace Tom Kuhn. I enjoyed meeting you at McDonald’s in Northport several years a go. We had some interesting conversations recently at Crab Meadow Beach. I always thought of you as a bright and genuine person. You made the world a more interesting place..

  5. You were a good friend Tom and you’ll be missed. Growing up with people like you, Ken Gilbert, Mike Bovee, and many others was, and is a privilege. It’s comforting to know that I’m sure you’re still playing music on the other side. Rest in peace my friend. Until we meet again….

  6. I am very saddened to hear of Tom’s passing, and would like to offer my heartfelt condolences to Tom’s Mom and Sister. I grew up playing in the park across from Tom’s house, and lived just down at the end of the street.

The last I knew of Tom he was down in NYC playing music with Ken Gilbert.
Shortly after that I lost track of Tom, as my life got a bit hectic with the
    Job/family and all.
I talked with some of the old crew, and all were shocked by Tom’s passing. He will be greatly missed by the old Dansville Fulton street group.

    Take care,

  15. Tom and I were friends from high school and lived together for a time while attending SUNY Geneseo as music majors. I’ve thought of Tom often over the years after losing touch with him after he moved to NYC area. I wish we could have continued our close relationship. Tom was amazing to know and very talented. We laughed a lot and shared much. We spent a summer together on Cape Code with a jazz band made up friends from college. Great times! Gone too soon Tom. I’ll miss you and think of you for the rest of my life. My thoughts are with your family and friends. God bless.
