Peter A. Turner – June 22, 2020

Livonia:  At age 76, Peter passed unexpectedly on June 22, 2020.  He was born on August 15, 1943 in Rochester, NY to the late Clifford and Margaret (Kiehle) Turner.  Predeceased by his wife Carol Turner in 1989.  Survived by his wife of 29 years, Barbara “Bobbie” Dwyer and children; Neil Turner of Livonia, Keith Turner of Rochester, Matt (Nancy) Birkedahl of TN, Kim Birkedahl of York, Wendy Boyce of NC, Kate (Ryan) Shand of Pittsford, John Dwyer of Livonia, and PJ Dwyer of Livonia; brother George (Irene) Turner, many grandchildren, and other loving family and friends.

Pete was a lifetime member of the Livonia Fire Department and was a past member of the Livonia Ambulance.  He worked as an Engineer in Research and Design for many years at Pulsafeeder in Rochester, NY.  Pete loved animals, especially dogs, and always enjoyed spending time and helping Bobbie with her work.

  2. I am so sorry to hear about Pete. I have fond memories of how my dogs felt so calm when he was there to help Bobbie. I had a dog named Amos who would shake when he arrived at Pampered paws …as soon as he heard Petes voice he was so calm and run from the waiting area to where Pete was. Prayers to you Bobbie and Family.

    he was always a nice guy! Haven’t seen him since grad day..so so sad, my condolences to family…
