  1. Brigitta was a close friend of my mom and I grew up knowing her and her family. Yesterday I was cleaning up some stuff and found a beautiful quilted table runner from Brigitta that she made for my mother. I wanted to reconnect after so many years, but unfortunately, I read here that she passed in 2020. Thanks to the funeral home for keeping this online. My condolences to Guido and Christian. So sad. In any case, I just loved her! She was soooo talented in many areas, had this wonderful bubbly energy and accomplished so much in a day, and then that amazing smile! She was always lots of fun. Great memories. So sorry for the family’s loss. The last I heard from my mom, was that Brigitta met a new partner, was traveling a lot and enjoying life! In any case, I am sending much love to the Hassig family…

  5. My condolences to the Hassig family. Joos always came to the tree farm early to choose a tree. It had to have branches spread apart enough to put real candles on to light. Brigitta invited Bill and me to show us how they did it. Then she served us homemade goodies. A memorable occasion. She was a lovely lady.
