Rosie was a wonderful friend . She loved walking the beach early in the morning with their dog Cayjan and riding her bike around Jeykll island .She knew so many people from different organizations ,the arts centre, book club and tennis and of course lunch with the girls . She and Truman were always the hosts for Super bowl bringing all of these people together .One of her favourites was the Christmas cookie exchange party which they all made the cookies together and then shared . She once made us cookies for our ride home…..I ate them before we got into the car.
I am so sorry to learn of Rosie’s passing. Michelle and I were in the same class in school and I could always count on seeing Truman and Rosie at every event be it music or sports. More recently my wife worked with Rosie at Sonnenberg Gardens. She was such a positive force in the community. My deepest condolences to all whose lives were touched by Rosie.
I loved the zest of life Rosie had. She was the best thing that could have happened for my brother Truman. They were not only husband and wife, they were best friends. What a shame that ALS got the best of a healthy, vibrant woman. RIP Rosie. Love, Peggy and Ed.
Rosie was a great friend. She always wanted her family and friends to be busy and enjoying life to the fullest. She loved organizing Super Bowl and Wimbledon parties to help new friends get to know each other. Miss your smile.. RIP Rosie
Rosie was a treasured friend of mine for too short a time. We taught together in Webster NY for many years. We laughed all the time and I miss her laugh and those happy times the most. I know that Rose suffered a lot so I take solace knowing my wonderful friend is no longer in pain. God has a plan and someday we’ll be together to laugh again. Rest In Peace Rose. I miss you every day.
