Geneseo:  At age 76, Robert passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. He was born on April 4, 1947 to the late Herbert and Rita Bashaw. Survived by his sons; Brent (Marla) Bashaw, Jamie Bashaw and Bobby Bashaw, grandchildren; Taylor and Bryce Bashaw. Robert was predeceased by his wife Susan (Campbell) Bashaw.

His love for his fellow servicemen was a testament to his character. He embodied the values of discipline, courage, and selflessness, which he carried with him throughout his life. He brought warmth and kindness to all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and wisdom that will continue to guide and inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Burial will be on December 1, 2023, 11:00 AM at the St. Mary’s Cemetery, County Route 42 Fort Covington, New York. Memorial contributions may be made in Roberts name to: American Diabetes Foundation P.O. Box 7023 Merrifield, VA 22116-7023
