Conesus: At age 60 years, Steve passed peacefully at his home on January 11, 2021. Survived by his wife Cookie (Marciniak) Rogers and children; Steven (Gloria) Rogers Jr., Natasha (Eric) Wonsey, Adam (Amy) Rogers, Samantha Rogers, and Cody Pascalar; grandchildren, Tyler, Emersyn, Elseigh, Alex, Nijah, Carson, Maybel, and Abigail; siblings, Dave Rogers, Marilyn Barber, and Sue (Paul) Dailey. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family and friends may call on Friday, January 15th, from 5-7pm at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 21 Big Tree Street, Rte 15 & 20A, Livonia, NY. Services will be held privately. I cannot begin to say how sad this makes me. Steve was a wonderful man and worked so hard his entire life. Although I would never say it to him, he was one of the smartest people I knew. He finally had the chance to enjoy a short retirement but not nearly long enough. All of us can agree that he deserved better.
I am so sorry for your loss Cookie and the entire Rogers family. Steve meant a lot to all all of us. He will be missed by all that knew him.
