Donald L. Buchanan – November 16, 2017

Livonia:  Peacefully on November 16, 2017 at age 73.  Predeceased by his parents Charles & Blanche Buchanan and sister Betty Mauer.  Survived by daughters, Stacey (Tim) Simpson of Livonia and Pam (Chris) Bartlett of Springwater; grandchildren, Erica Retzer, Cassandra (Joshua) Gascon, and Chelsea Bartlett; great-grandchildren, Collin and Brody Carpenter, Suzanna Mae Gascon, and many other family and friends.

Don’s Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 21st, 2017 at 1pm at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 21 Big Tree Street, Rte 15 & 20A, Livonia, NY.  Burial will follow at Temple Hill Cemetery, Geneseo, NY.  In Don’s Memory please sit back and watch a western movie or enjoy a round of golf.  To send a condolence or share a memory please visit:  www.doughertyfuneralhomes.com

  4. I loved talking with Don at Wegmans, he was a very interesting guy and we would laugh. Have known him for a long time and will be missed. Stacey and Pam you are in my thoughts.

  5. I love you so much dad. When Pammy and I we’re by your side as you took your last breath we told you we would be alright and that you could go home to God. We are so thankful and so honored that you were our father. You may be gone but you will never ever be forgotten.

  6. Don was a great friend and we shared many good times together. I wish we had kept in touch over the years. My prayers and thoughts are with those he left behind. Blessings to his family and comfort from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
