Daniel C. Price – April 27, 2017

Canaseraga/Livonia: Passed peacefully on April 27, 2017 at age 66 years. Predeceased by parents Eugene & Marian Price, brother Jim Price, and son Joshua Price. Survived by his wife Joyce Price and children; Tommy Linzy (Stephanie Stafford) of Livonia, Diana (Edwin) Roniger of Kent, and Michelle (Rob) Desautels of VT; grandchildren, Ashley, Nikole, Tommy, Nichole, Jeff, Kaitlyn, Danielle, Alexis, Alaina, and Aiden; 2 great-grandchildren, Colton and Michael. Also survived by siblings; Dave (Bonnie) Price, Carol (Buster) Miller, Deb (Kelly) Sutterlin. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a family of friends.

Dan was born on May 2, 1950 in Warsaw, NY to parents Eugene & Marian Price. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Dan was a Master Automotive Technician for over 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, camping, kayaking, snowmobiling, hiking, and most recently he enjoyed restoring wooden canoes. His retirement gave him time to work on many projects including a complete restoration of a 1963 Shasta camper. Dan belonged to the Tuscorara “Spotsman” Club and also belonged to the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association and the Tin Can Tourist Organization. His passion for the Adirondacks will always be part of his heart and soul. The family extends their gratitude to all the loving members of the Vincent House in Wayland, NY for the compassion and care provided to Dan and his entire family.

Friends may call on Tuesday, May 2nd, from 4-7pm at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 21 Big Tree Street, Rte 15 & 20A, Livonia. At 6:30pm there will be time to share stories and memories. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Vincent House, 310 Second Ave., Wayland, NY 14572. To send a condolence please visit:
