Geneseo/Livonia: Unexpectedly on February 21, 2017 at age 70 years. Predeceased by her parents Walter & Nora McDougall. Survived by her brothers; Walter (Kathy) McDougall of NC and David (Linda) McDougall of WA; nieces & nephews; Heather McDougall, Michael (Aleksandra) McDougall, Ryan (Lindsey) McDougall, Adam (Kathy) McDougall, Kristin McDougall, and Daniel Connor. Also survived by several cousins and many dear friends. Cheryl was a middle school teacher and retired from the Honeoye Falls-Lima Central School District. She was also a dedicated member of the United Methodist Church of Livonia.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 25th, at 10am at the United Methodist Church of Livonia, 21 Summers Street, Livonia, NY 14487. Interment will be held privately. I worked with Cheryl during my years at the HFL Middle School. She was a dedicated teacher who made learning fun for her students and made life fun for her fellow teachers. I am sorry about her passing and send thoughts and prayers to her family.
Cheryl lived an exemplary life.
Her compassion, insight and kindness appeared to be unending.
And she was Fun – never taking herself too seriously.

I truly enjoyed working with Cheryl when I was in the middle school. She was the life of the party, always fun to be with and made faculty meetings bearable.
