Harvey Lynn Goossens ~ September 27, 2016

Livonia: September 27, 2016 after a courageously fought battle with a long term illness. Predeceased by his parents, Esther and Frank Goossens, and his brothers Donald and Terry Goossens. 4. Susan and girls,
It’s been a long time since we have chatted but memories are clear as yesterday. My best to all of you and also the class of 65. Harv is now free of pain and can Rest In Peace. Take care of yourselves.

  5. My sincere condolences to Susan, and her daughters on the passing of Harv. He was an LCS Athlete that I admired and a good friend of my brother Patrick. His Mom Esther use to get her hair done at my Aunt Vivian’s beauty shop and often spoke of Don, Terry and Harv, which made us all feel closer as friends. As a soldier during the Vietnam War, he became a hero to many of who were younger. To all those from the Class of 1965 at LCS, you all lost a good friend and great classmate! God Bless You Harv!

    Respectfully,
    Guy Kevin Reed

  6. I am so sorry for your loss. As kids we spent many good time at McPhersons Point when the boys were growing up. Esther and my mom worked together for many years at Champion. I haven’t seen Harvey for many years, but do remember him and his brothers fondly. May God help you though this.
