  1. Dale & family,
Our heartfelt sympathy to you on the passing of your Dad. May your memories bring you comfort & peace.

  2. Jackie and I send our heartfelt sympathy to Pat and all the family during this difficult time. Uncle Doug will always be remembered like uncle Dick. The uncle that could tell a great story and keep you laughing for hours. I recall the family gatherings at both spencerport and the St Lawrence river and smile today thinking about how the three brothers laughed and had such a great time together. With the passing of our dad (Duane) tonight all three are now sharing a beer together and telling jokes again. It is so crazy thinking how all three brothers have passed within days of each other. Uncle Doug was so proud of the place he and Pat built in Naples and loved to share the tranquility. Of course let us not forget his homemade wine of various flavors. May you rest in peace and keep the heavens laughing like you did for all of us. God bless a great uncle.

  3. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. We have some great memories with Doug and family over the years. Thanks for the memories Doug. I hope you are with Dick, Dougie and all the relatives having a beer and good food. Also you and Dick telling your favorite jokes. May God be with you.

  4. Patricia: It is with the heaviest of hearts that I received word the my half brother Doug and Dick both have passed. As a little boy, I remember Doug coming home from the Army in his big Buick. I remember him letting me wear his Army Cap and mom taking our picture. I felt 10 feet tall. He then picked mom up in his arms and had that wonderful smile on his face. You and your whole family will be in my nightly prayers as well as Dick and Doug. I was so filled with pride that I almost burst when I introduced him to people as my Brother.
I pray that God will give you all the strength you need to get through the times ahead. I lost my 40 year old daughter 3 years ago, and I know the stain and emotion that comes after everything has settled down.
    Be strong and have faith
    Michael & June Rusaw

  5. Where do I begin to say how sorry I am to hear about my Uncle Doug passing? He was like a second father to me in so many ways. I spent the summer of 66 living at his house in Spencerport and was treated like one of his own. He taught me how to big game hunt and how to have fun. Cooking Dick Rich potatoes at camp and the contest of who could bring the hottest peppers each year to hunting camp. His hearty laugh and jokes would bring tears of laughter to all. I had so many good times and memories with him through all the years.

I know he is in a better place now. Uncle Doug and Dougie better leave some big bucks to hunt when I meet them again in hunting heaven. I miss you both and will Love you forever.

    Duane A Miller

  6. All our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. My all your memories bring you comfort and peace. Xoxo, Kris
