Honeoye: Rev. Regina Katherine Shaw died on January 10, 2014 at age 65 years. Survived by her husband of 42 years, Pastor Ray Shaw. Children; Amy (Robert) Chavez of Hemlock, Karen Shaw and David Shaw both of Rochester. Grandchildren: Rebecca, Alexander, and Graciela. Sister; Virginia (Bud) Purdy of NC, brothers; Roger (Joyce) Smith, Corbett (Jarry) Smith, Gerald (Carolyn) Smith all of NC, and Lowell (Phyllis) Smith of Greene, NY.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 21 Big Tree Street, Rte 15 &20A, Livonia. A Celebration of Regina’s life will be held on Wednesday at 11am at the United Methodist Church of Livonia, 21 Summers Street, Livonia with a reception to follow. Reverend Ronald Isaman will be the celebrant along with Rev. Kathy Stengel, Rev. Dave Geer, and Rev. Dan Finch. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations and/or children’s books be collected for donation to Tenwek Hospital, Kenya in memory of Regina K. Shaw. Collection boxes will be available. Contributions may also be made in Regina’s memory to the Webster’s Crossing United Methodist Church, 7230 Rte 15, Webster’s Crossing, NY 14560.     I considered the two of you my friends as we traveled from district to district these last few years. I still do. My prayers are with you.

  3. Regina was a great servant of the Lord and not only will she be missed by her family, but by her friends too. Heavens glow is a little brighter now that she is there.
