  1. Heaven just received one of the most gentle and patient man – all his time and patience he had given for sports and kids was over the top – watching him interact with them was heartwarming and beautiful. Livonia sports world has lost one of the greatest! You touched so many lives!!! God Bless you!!!

  2. Yes he was and always will be top Bulldog. Always had a sharp wit and some kind of memory. I know the sports shoes he provided out of his own pocket was huge. And always the best latest model. I have great respect for his knowledge of Livonia area sports and history. You will be missed, glad we got to celebrate with you our undefeated 1975 football team last fall. May God bless you with Box seats my friend.

  3. I could write a book on this man, so many memories! One thing people might have not known about Terry, he the announcer-voice of the Zeniths basketball pro-team at the dome arena. He was a very gifted writer. He help myself in coaching Lady’s softball team for Bojangles and you’ll never guess who designed the uniforms. He sponsored my semi-pro hockey team and designed the jerseys. You’ll never guess the team colors, Orange n Blue- while at Ruby sporting goods. He was truly a Livonia Bulldog through n through. He cheered me on when I coached at good old LCS, rip my friend…..Coach Blum, LCS alumni 71. Jimmy #33.

  4. Terry…..The best and most loyal Livonia Bulldog that ever lived. I’m sure Dougherty’s found blue and orange blood in his veins.
…He came up with idea for the painted basketball and Globe Trotter music for our warm up before the games. His insight into our emotions made the hair on the back of our necks stand up before every home game…..Heaven has just been upgraded to version 11.0. We’ll miss you Terry.

  5. Very sad news to anyone who wore the orange & blue. Terry was someone who gave more than he received. He had a remarkable memory for Livonia athletic statistics. His loyalty to Livonia athletics and his caring for Livonia students are unmatched and beyond reproach. I am blessed to have known him. He made all who truly knew him a better person.

  6. So saddened to hear of Terry’s passing. He was a great guy and a lot of fun. Hopefully he will meet Doug up there and they can reminisce about old times.
