Livonia: Died on May 13, 2016 at age 84 years at Strong Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Survived by his wife of 62 years, Dottie; children, Pam Heller of Livonia, Patti Woodruff of Conesus, Gary (Jill) Woodruff, Jim (Billie Jo) Woodruff, and John (Melissa) Woodruff all of Canadice. 8 grandchildren; brother-in-law, Richard (Nancy) Kelly of Tampa, FL. nieces and nephews.
He was born in Rochester, NY on April 28, 1932, the son of Buell Woodruff Sr. and Ruth (Boorman) Woodruff. He owned and operated Richard L. Woodruff Collision Shop in Livonia for several years. He also taught at Boces in Mt. Morris. He was a member and past President of the Livonia Rotary Club. Dick served on both the Livonia Town and Village Board and was active in the Livingston County Antique Car Club.
Friends may call Monday 4 – 7 PM at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. Routes 15 & 20A, 21 Big Tree St. Livonia where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 PM. Rev.
