Lakeville: Lee J. Clarke, 79 years, of Rochester Rd. Lakeville, NY died November 24, 2013 at FF Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua, surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 28, 1934 in Rochester, NY the son of Roy and Margaret Donovan Clarke.
He was employed at AB Dick in Henrietta until his retirement in the early 90’s, at which time he worked part time at Dick’s Sporting Goods. There, he shared his love of outdoor sports. In addition to hunting and fishing, Lee was a longtime volunteer fireman with the Lakeville Fire Dept. When he was no longer able to fight fires, he became a regular at calling the numbers at the Fire Departments Bingo games.
He was predeceased by his wife, Fern, infant son, Stewart, and sister June Geiger. Lee is survived by his 6 children, Susan Blackmar ( Robert Thayer), Jim Clarke (Mary), Mary Poprawski (Gary), Linda Linsner (Ted), Ellen Clarke and Margaret Lynch. Also, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. his sister Joan Bertsch (Donald). nieces & nephews. And a special thanks to Precious.

Very sorry to hear of Lee’s passing. I got to know him well over the many years at Itek/A.B.Dick. I considered Lee a good friend and could always count on him to do his job well. Lee was among the hardest working, most dedicated employees that I had. I send my sincere condolences to the entire Clarke family and Lee’s many good friends.
