Honeoye Lake: May 13, 2011 at age 81 years. Survived by beloved wife of 56 years Mary. Children: Thomas “Tosh” (Laurie) Farrell of Webster, Catherine “Katie” Farrell of Honeoye, Megan Farrell of Buffalo, Maureen Farrell of Honeoye, Patricia (Dwight) Slocum of Springwater, and Ellen (Peter Yacobucci) Farrell of Buffalo. Predeceased by son in law Moshen Lachaal husband of Megan. Grandchildren Caitlin, Macie, Brendan, Shane, Cormac, Brett, Erin, Tosh, Margaret, Jacob, and Mia. Several nieces & nephews, and many friends.

Tom was born on July 19, 1929 in South Buffalo, NY to parents Thomas Patrick Farrell and mother Catherine (Donohue) Farrell. He resided in Irondequoit for many years before moving to Honeoye Lake where the family enjoyed spending their time. Prior to retirement Tom worked as a real estate appraiser working on his own and also for First Federal Savings & Loan in Rochester, NY.

Tom’s Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 8961 Main St.(Rte 20a), Honeoye on Tuesday, May 17th at 10:30am with Fr. John Hayes as the celebrant. Burial Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Ontario-Yates Hospice, 756 Pre-Emption Rd., Geneva, NY 14485 or to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, PO Box 725, Honeoye, NY 14471.
