Bristol: Bill passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at the Livingston County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Mount Morris, NY. He was born on July 23, 1954 in Rochester, NY. Bill is survived by his wife, Terry (Simmons) Bennett; daughter, Andrea (Brian) Nixon and son, Chris (Lacey) Bennett, and His grandchildren, Brenna, Brett Nixon, and Halen Bennett. Sister, Linda (Roger) Belcher, brother-in-law, Niel Belmont. Pre-deceased by his parents, William and Muriel Bennett, and sister Sharyl Belmont.

I worked with Bill for a number of years with Bosch Security Systems. I always appreciated Bill’s approach to problem-solving, planning and organization. In meetings he was the thoughtful one who didn’t need to be speaking all of the time but gave careful thought and provided valuable input at the most appropriate time. Very pragmatic and well ordered. On top of that, he was a really good person and a joy to be around. He will be missed.
