Jean G. Henning ~ July 13, 2024

Honeoye: At age 83, Jean passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at FF Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua, NY. She was born on June 15, 1941, to the late Thomas and Marian Gaffney. Survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Robert L. Henning, her children, TR Henning, and Tammy Henning, along with her grandson, Ted Henning.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 2-4 pm at the Richmond Town Fire Department, 8741 Main Street, Honeoye, NY 14471.   1. My heart is broken to learn that the Angels took Jean home to the Lord. To the entire family, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Cherish the memories of such a wonderful person l.

  2. I am so, so sorry for your loss. Every time we would run into each other she would make a point of saying Hi and of course a big hug. We need more cheerful people like her.

  4. I was very blessed to know Jean – her caring and gentle manner drew me to her as a friend. Her hugs would make my day. She could always make me laugh when I was down. She will be missed.

  5. I am so sorry to hear about Jean. We spent many years together in District #2 as the Republican Election Inspectors. I always looked forward to the day because not only did Jean do her job well but her laughter brightened our day. My condolences and prayers to the family. Your have great memories to help you in the times to come.

    As a Boy Scout leader, I have to say on behalf of Troop 58, Honeoye, Jean was our favorite for sure!
    She would hang out on shore as we put in their dock, their hosts and the neighbors too. And then the best part, we would all jump into the lake one more time, just to line up and one by one, she would give each one of us a huge hug. She would be soaked.
    We dubbed Jean , ” The hug Lady” and each one of us loved her!
    God has called home a very much deserved Angle.
