Bristol, NY: Joseph D. Stehlik died on March 10, 2011 at the home of his devoted daughter, Elizabeth in Bristol, New York. He was born on September 25, 1929 to Joseph and Irene Cummings Stehlik. He graduated from Whitesboro Central School, and received his B.E.E. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He worked for Univac until his retirement.
On September 3, 1951, he married Gloria Piszcz in St. Mary’s Church, New York Mills. Joseph is survived by his wife and seven children; Elizabeth Stehlik, Kathryn Schantz and husband, Gary, Mary Stehlik, Teresa Casanova, Timothy Stehlik and wife, Linda, David Stehlik and wife, Sarah, and Amy Stehlik. He leaves grandchildren, Julie Casanova Balfe, and husband Brian, Jeffrey Waldron, Nathan Waldron, Daniel Eddy, Katrina Stehlik, Deidra Stehlik, Joseph William Stehlik, Emily Rose Stehlik, and a great grandson, Luke Balfe. He also leaves a brother-in-law, Alfred Piszcz.
