Rush/Livonia: Nancy passed peacefully on November 21, 2022 at the home she shared with her husband John, daughter Lora and son-in-law Dan. She was born on October 13, 1937 in Kane, PA to the late Leon and Martha (Anderson) Eddy. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sons James “Jamie” and Kevin Cunningham & her sister Linda Morrison. Survived by her husband of 65 years, A. John Cunningham; daughters, Tanis (Chris) Edd of Rush, Lora (Dan) Abbott of Rush, and Marcia (Chris) Welker of West Henrietta; grandchildren, Jessica (Will) Pape, Jeremy (Cate) Nettnin, Kirstin Welker, Amanda Edd, Daniel (Amanda) Abbott, Chelsea Abbott (Tanner) , Stone Welker (Shelby); great-grandchildren, Trevor, Heidi, Chance, and Vivien; sister Deanna Keene; brother James (Penny) Eddy; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
This amazing woman was filled with a kindness of spirit and a love of her family. For several years Nancy worked alongside her husband at Integrity Financing, was member of the Lion’s Club and helped anyone who needed her. She was filled with joy when her family was near. She embraced and rejoiced the birth of every grandchild. Now she is reunited with her parents, sister and sons.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, November 26th, from 1-3pm at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 21 Big Tree Street, Rte 15 & 20A, Livonia, NY where Nancy’s Memorial Service will be held at 3pm, following calling hours. Interment will take place in the Spring at Rose Hill Cemetery, Smethport, PA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Nancy’s memory online to: Thoracic Insufficiency Syndrome.
