  3. My condolences to the Schneider family. I’m Debbie Haag Schwab – we knew your family from Canaseraga; my parents (Red and Jan) having the camp next to George and Helen for years. I always enjoyed spending time with your family and always remember your mom being so sweet and so welcoming whenever we stopped by. I’m glad she lived a good long life. (Great memories of your dad, too.)

It saddens me a bit to know she was at Monroe Community Hospital, as I worked there from 2014 until this past July (most of my time in the Pharmacy) — and I didn’t realize she was there. Please know I would have paid visits to her had I known.

Sending hugs and my deepest sympathy for your loss. Your mom was a great gal.

  4. Dear Schneider Family, We are so sorry to hear of Alice’s passing. She was such a sweet lady and such a great friend to the Weaver family. Take comfort in all the wonderful memories of your Mom. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Jim , Pat, Jason and Amanda Weaver

  5. I will always remember Alice as a welcoming, friendly, happy, calm, and peace-filled woman. She was always willing to participate in family activities, such as picnics at Marty and Barb’s cabin, watching all the kids swimming in the pond, going out for chicken wings on someone’s Birthday, or enjoying all the silly games and fun on Christmas Eve. I admired her zest for life when she got a tattoo for her 80th Birthday along with Emma. I will long remember the smile on Alice’s face when she held her Grandchildren or Great-grandchildren. She served as a role model for many, especially her nine children, and was blessed with a long life. I was honored to know you, Alice. May you rest on God’s Peace.

  6. Bill and Sue,
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this period of great sorrow..

  7. Barb and Billy and the whole family. Im so sorry for your loss of Mom but she will always be in your heart and will allways love you. Love Sharon
