  1. I worked at Xerox when Jean was in Human Resources. She was always a bright light in the office, a good listener and a take-action kind of a person. Later, I saw her when she was visiting the MM Ewing Continuing Care Center in Canandaigua. Always a smile!

  2. Lu, Paul and Andrew, I am so sorry for your loss, and the loss to the Lang family as well. My mom (Janet Lang) and Jean were good friends, and through that relationship I discovered what a treasure Jean was.

Mom and Jean were a bit like the odd couple, and I often marveled at Jean’s kindness, resilience and patience at navigating mom’s free-wheeling spirit. They stayed gal pals through the years though, frequently getting together Friday nights to compare notes from the week.

I will miss Jean especially at Christmas, as for years she would come over and help decorate mom’s tree. Mom’s tree is filled with memories, and in 2018 we will hang a very special “Jean ornament” that will keep her with us always.
