  1. Susan,

May you find solace in the fond memories of both your parents. I never met either of them but I am a firm believer that the fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree. I have known you 30 plus years ( holy sh*t ) and have seen you blossom into a woman possessing: a sense of adventure, a positive attitude, a flair for style, outbursts of enthusiasm, empathy for friends, honesty, a green thumb, curiosity, appreciation of beauty, loyalty and nostalgic tendencies. I am sure both your parents had these attributes as well.

We are only on this third rock from the sun for a “relatively” short time, so carpe diem, cherish your family and friends and live the golden rule.

Continue to be “the candle in the wind” that we have always known you to be, and you can weather any storm.

    With love,

    REK
