In 1947, she married the love of her life, Don Auble , whom she met on a blind date. She was a stay-at-home Mom with their 3 children until the family moved to Conesus Lake in l964. At that time she worked in the Livonia School District as a secretary for the Superintendent and Guidance Counselor. The family enjoyed life at the lake until she and Don moved to Florida in 1980. There they had their dream retirement until moving back to Livonia in 1995, when Don became sick. Jean lived in her home for 20 years before moving to Assisted Living. After a fall in January 2017, she was given special care by the Angels at the Episcopal Church Home in Rochester.
