Livonia:  August 19, 2017 at age 75 years.  Predeceased by his parents Albert & Evelyn (Schmeer) McGrain, his sisters Gail and Beverly, his brother William, and his daughter Nancy.  Survived by children; Deborah (Steven) Zeh, Tammie Schwerzler, Dawn (Jeff) Gerstner, Barry McGrain Jr., and William McGrain.   Grandchildren,  Shaun (Kim), Kyle, Corey (Erica), Amanda (Bill), Gregory (Liz), Tyler (Lindsay), Meghan, Emily, Jennifer, Michelle, Brittany, Stephanie, Christopher, Carrie, Albert III, Brianna, Alyssa, and William II; great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Lia, Patrick, Jacob, Ava, and Carina; sisters, Sharon Kelly and Kathy (Lou) Emerson, brother Kevin McGrain, many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Albert was born on October 2, 1941 in Rochester, NY to parents Albert & Evelyn (Schmeer) McGrain.  Al served his country in the US Marine Corps from 1960-1965.  He retired from General Motors in Rochester, NY after 30 years of service.  Al loved Conesus Lake and spending time with family and friends.

Friends may call on Friday, August 25th, from 5-8pm at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 21 Big Tree Street, Rte 15 & 20A, Livonia, NY.  Albert’s  Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 26th, 12noon at St. Matthew’s Church, 6591 Richmond Mills Road, Rte 20A, Livonia, NY.  Burial Temple Hill Cemetery, Geneseo, with military honors.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  To send a condolence please visit:
