Garnet N. Rollo “Gar” – July 5, 2017

Honeoye: July 5, 2017 at age 62 years after battling a lengthy illness. Predeceased by his father Norman Rollo and his step son Joseph Zonneville. Survived by his wife of 25 years, Brenda Rollo (Zonneville) of Honeoye and his niece, that was like a daughter, Cheryl Zonneville. Also survived by his mother Dolores Rollo and siblings; Millie (Paul) Staley, Rick Rollo, Reggie (MaryJo) Rollo, Laurie Ann (Arnie) Shaffer, and Donald Rollo; many nieces & nephews, dear friends, and his puppy Katy Girl.

Garnet was born on February 13, 1955 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada to parents Norman and Dolores Rollo. He served his country in the US Air Force from 1972-77, was a member of the Honeoye-Hemlock American Legion Post, and was a member of the Sheet Metal Union Local 46. Gar worked at RCM in Rochester and in Honeoye for many years. He loved playing horseshoes, golfing, NASCAR, and the Buffalo Bills.

Friends may call on Saturday, July 15th, from 1-3pm at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 8624 Main Street, Rte 20A, Honeoye, NY. A Military Service with Honors will be held at the funeral home at 2:30pm. To send a condolence or share a memory please visit:
