Marilyn Grossi (Willmott) ~ April 23, 2017

Canadice: Peacefully at home on April 23, 2017 at age 64 years. Predeceased by her father Charles Biggs, her father-in-law Leo Grossi, her sister-in-law Mary Ann Viola, and her brother-in-law Junior Valerie. Survived by her husband of 45 years Jonathan Grossi, her mother Jane Biggs, 3 cousins; Danny Gmeinweiser, Elaine (Paul) Rosa, and Barbara (Donald) Bontempo. Also survived by her sisters-in-law; Judith (Ronald) King and Patty (Vincent) Reitano; nieces & nephews, Joey (Suzie) Valerie, JaneMarie Valerie, Vincent (Alicia) Valerie, Ronald King Jr., Jonathan Valerie, and Leo (Numai) Viola; great nieces & nephews, Alison and Nicholas Viola, Giovanni and Antonio Valerie, and many dear friends. The family would like to thank Yvonne and Pam from Ontario-Yates Hospice for the compassionate care they provided Marilyn.

Marilyn was born on October 4, 1952 in Rochester, NY where she lived for many years. She attended Marshall High School and later worked at Rochester Telephone. She met Jonathan Grossi when they were teenagers and they later married on May 20, 1972 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rochester, NY. Marilyn and John lived in the City of Rochester but for many years have lived in the beautiful hills of Canadice, NY where they enjoyed nature and the outdoors.

Friends may call on Wednesday, April 26th, from 4-7pm at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 8624 Main Street, Rte 20A, Honeoye, NY. Marilyn’s Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 27th, at 10:30am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 8961 Main Street, Rte 20A, Honeoye, NY. Following the Mass a luncheon will be held at the St. Mary’s Community Room. Interment will be held privately.
