Samuel N. Finocchario – November 25, 2008

South Lima: Samuel N. Finocchario, 53 years, of South Lima Road in South Lima died suddenly, November 25, 2008 at Strong Memorial Hospital from injuries involving an accident at his home. He was born in Canandaigua, NY, June 25, 1955 the son of Natale and Lucy Cicero Finocchario. Sam had a life long love of farming, which included his collection of Farmall tractors. He was a 29 year employee of the former Niagara Mohawk Corp which then became known as National Grid being based in Avon, NY. He was a member of St. Matthews Church in Livonia and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Employees. He was predeceased by his Father, Natale Finocchario and his Father-in-law, Leonard Willard.

Sam is survived by his wife, Donna K. Finocchario; his children, Nicholas (Jennifer) Finocchario of Rochester and Melissa (Matthew) Wise of Springwater; his mother Lucy (Cicero) Finocchario of South Lima. his sisters, Catherine Finocchario of South Lima, Marylu (Bill) Bean of South Lima and Christine Finocchario of Mount Morris. his mother-in-law and father-in-law. Nancy and and Irv Cooper of Lakeville; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Also, his loving dogs, Shiloh and Lily.

Friends may call Friday 1-3 PM and 6-9 PM at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. Routes 15 and 20A (21 Big Tree St) Livonia. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. John H. Hayes on Saturday 11 AM at St. Matthews Church Route 20A, Livonia. Burial, St. Michaels Cemetery, Livonia.
