  1. I was barely 5 years old when I first encountered a beautiful and bright young women who lived next door on Copeland Street. She was dating a handsome young man just out of the USMC. Over the next few years Norma’s Dad and mine would become good friends. Norma introduced me to her spaniel by the name of Pal. We played in the back yard at 69 Copeland. I attended the wedding at my parish 2 days after my 9th birthday in 1958. I regret Norma was not part of my adult life as I moved away to college but will always cherish the fact that she was part of my early life. It appears that she had a fulfilling life with many rewards. I trust she passed peacefully. I shall remember her with love as I remember Al and Mildred and Les. My sympathies to all family members.
