Avon: January 6, 2017, at age 81 years, surrounded by loved ones. Predeceased by his parents Francis & Dorothy Gillen and his twin brother Mike Gillen Sr. Survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary J. Gillen and children; Tom (Barb) Gillen, Kathy (Lenny) Palmer, Mary (Mark) Emmighausen, Patti Wilson, and Joe Gillen. 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Also survived by his brother Robert (Leeann) Gillen, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pat worked at the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, Geneseo, NY from 1959-1981 and retired as a Road Patrol Sergeant.

Pat’s Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 11th, at 11am at St. Columba Catholic Church, 198 North Street, Caledonia, NY 14423. Interment will take place privately at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Livonia, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Columba Catholic Church at the address above.
