Honeoye: September 11, 2016 at age 86. Predeceased by his wife Jennie Sullivan and step children Peter Cook and Mary Zimmerman. Survived by his children; Shelley Schaff of Hemlock, Patti (William) Schaff of Honeoye. Two step children; Raymond Cook of Penfield and Joan Speer of Port Washington. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Half-sister Teresa (Leon) Pfuntner of Honeoye.

Friends may call Thursday, September 15th from 4-7pm at the Kevin W Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 8624 Main Street, Route 20A, Honeoye, where Funeral Services will be held Friday 11am. Burial with military honors, Lakeview Cemetery, Honeoye. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family for them to designate a charity at a later date, PO Box 105, Honeoye, NY 14471.   1. Mike and I were so sorry to hear about your Dad! Sully did so much for the Honeoye community and was so faithful to the American Legion that was his second home. He so enjoyed the casino trips that he planned with all the Honeoye crew and of course enjoyed the winning side of the trip!!(I’m sure he has a card game going on) May he rest in peace and all the memories will be in your hearts forever!

  5. Sully was a man of many talents. He was a unique character. He did much for Post 1278 and will be sorely missed. The world lost one of kind with the death of this guy. Loved you Sully and really appreciated all you did for the Post.
