Ronald E. Barrett of Honeoye passed away on May 26th at the age of 65. He was predeceased by his parents Ezra and Joyce Barrett.

Ron attended Ohio University where he played the tuba in the Ohio University Marching Band. He was a member of the United Church of Christ where he sang in the choir. Ron had many musical talents, he especially enjoyed playing the bass fiddle and singing in an ocapella group.

Ron is survived by his sisters Patti (Bil) Saxby, Mechele (Spencer) Shumway, Kim (Jim) Csabi, Kris (Greg) Deragon. Nieces and nephews, Andy (Cyrena), Austin and Kya Saxby. Spencer and Emma Csabi, Ethan and Josh Deragon, and many good friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to the United Church of Christ @ 8758 Main Street, Honeoye, NY 14471, or The American Diabetes Foundation 1701 North Beauregard Street Alexandria, VA 22311.

Calling hours will be held at the United Church of Christ, 8758 Main St. Honeoye, on June 11th from 1 till 2 PM where services will immediately follow. Rev. Kevin Cotter will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery Honeoye.
