Conesus: March 8, 2016 at age 69 years. Predeceased by his wife Darlene Abbott, parents Harold & Doris Abbott, and brother Donald Abbott. Survived by brother Richard (Marlene) Abbott of Belmont. Special cousin Roberta (Dr. Kenneth Buckle) Abbott –Buckle, and many other cousins, nieces & nephews. Also survived by his many in-laws in the Travis Family.
Hal was born on November 19, 1946 in Rochester, NY to parents Harold & Doris (Thompson) Abbott. He graduated in 1964 from East Ridge High School. Hal always had a love of baseball and played in high school and later in the slow pitch leagues. Hal was a self employed carpet installer in the area for many years.
The family wishes to thank Vicki & Rodney Lown for being great friends and always looking out for Hal.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 12th, at 12noon at the Conesus American Legion, 6317 Marshall Road, Conesus, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America, 919 Westfall Road #220, Rochester, NY 14618. Arrangements entrusted to the Kevin W. Alberta wishes to send her deepest sympathy to the Abbott family. She often asked about Hal and wondered how he was doing. She always says that they had great times with Hal & Doris and their ‘crazy’ kids.
