  1. Not Enough Time

    The time we had, Dad,
    Wasn’t nearly enough
    To pack in an entire
    Lifetime of love.

    There are so many questions
    That I need answers to,
    But now that you’re gone
There’s no way to ask you.

    But there are still photos
    To remember you by,
Each time I look at them,
    I still want to cry.

    They say grief is easier
to bear as time goes by,
    But that doesn’t stop me
    from wondering why?

    Why my dear, sweet dad
    Was taken so soon,
When he was my guiding star,
    My sun and my moon.

    There are no answers
    To a question like this,
    So I’ll cherish your memory,
And mourn the years we’ll miss.

    I Love you Daddy!

  5. A letter to Daddy!

    I can’t tell you Daddy,
    How many times I’ve cried,
Since the day I was told,
    My precious Dad had died.

    It seems so impossible,
    Although I know it’s true,
    As everything I see around,
    Reminds me of you.

I can still hear your laughter,
    And see your smiling face,
    Deep inside my broken heat,
You will forever hold a place.

I have to close this letter now,
    But this is not goodbye,
For you will always be with me,
    In my heart and mind.

I miss you already Dad! I will love you forever and always! May you rest in peace!
