Ralph A. Durbin – January 10, 2009

Conesus Lake: Ralph A. Durbin 87 years, of Clearview Drive, Geneseo, formerly of Conesus Lake, died Saturday January 10, 2009 at the Conesus Lake Nursing Home in Livonia after a lengthy illness. He was born in Rochester, NY October 31, 1921 the son of John and Inez Perry Durbin. A World War 2 Marine Pilot, he was a life member of the Conlon-Mulvaney American Legion Post. Ralph was an avid bowler, and member of antique car clubs, model train clubs, airplane clubs, and he also collected Chevrolet Corvairs. He also was a member of the Livonia Masonic Lodge. Prior to retirement in 1975, he was a tool and die maker at Rochester Products for over 33 years.

Ralph is survived by his wife Thelma; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Lee Smearing of Tenn., Thomas and Marlee Smearing of Mich., Marty and Judy Smearing of Livonia.9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. His sister, Ruth Fanton of Mendon. several nieces, nephews and cousins.
