South Lima: September 25, 2015 at age 87 years. Predeceased by her husband Russell L. Smith in 2014. Survived by her children David (Sally) Smith of Springwater, Linda (Steve) Futter of Livonia and Christine (Patrick) Ireland of Winchester, VA. 7 grandchildren Damon & Dale Smith, Matthew & Lindsay Futter, Flynn, Ryley & Bayley Ireland. Great grandsons, Alexander, Jonah & Ainsley Smith. Brother Hilton (Elizabeth) Hayward of Honeoye Falls, Sister in law Frances Smith of Livonia. Nieces & nephews.

Gladys was born August 25, 1928 daughter of the late Everett and Aulsa Hayward. Gladys lived most of her married life in South Lima, NY and was a retired Postmaster of the South Lima Post office. Gladys enjoyed her work, her family, antiques, baking and being with her friends.

No prior calling. Friends are invited to attend funeral services Saturday October 3, 2015 at 11AM at the United Methodist Church of Livonia, 21 Summers Street, Livonia.     Your Mom was probably the cutest sweetest Woman I have ever known. She was also the strongest woman, I have ever known. She was a Light in the lives of everyone she ever touched! You all have so many fond memories of your Mom, make sure to pull from those, its ok if you get a tear in your eye when you think of her. That tells you just how dear she was! Rest In Peace Sweet Gladys with the Love of your life!
