Livonia: August 14, 2015 at age 98. Predeceased by husband H. Ward McCauley in 1980, sisters; Marilyn (Ben) Solin and Betty Gwynn, and son-in-law Richard Johnston. Survived by children; Diane (Anthony) Panzica of Penfield, Roger (Diana Minemier) McCauley of OH, Richard McCauley of DC, and Debra Johnston of Livonia. Grandchildren; Jared (Juli Buchanan) McCauley of TX and Kerry (Jim George) Jischke of Lakeville. Great Grandchildren; Cate and Cash McCauley & Kylee and Kirstin George. Sister, Joan (George) Hugel, several nieces & nephews, and brother-in-law Edward Gwynn.

Arline was a graduate of SUNY Geneseo and loved teaching Elementary School in the Belmont, Long Island, and Livonia, NY School Districts.

The family wishes to thank the staff of the Conesus Lake Nursing Home for their patience, understanding and gentle care of our mother for over ten years. We also thank two very special people, Ruth Barker and Patricia Barber, who brought love, laughter, friendship and tender care into our mother’s life, as well as our own.

Friends may call on Monday, August 17th, from 4-7pm at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 21 Big Tree Street, Rte 15 & 20A, Livonia, where services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30am. Burial Lakeview Cemetery, Groveland.   2. Dear Diane, Tony and family. We are so sorry for your loss. Your Mom clearly had a rich and wonderful life surrounded by many who loved her. I can only imagine how proud she was of all of you. May years of loving memories comfort you during this sad time and fill your heart always.
