  1. Dear Ligia,
I was saddened to read of Marcella’s passing. She was, indeed, a very sweet girl. Her notice mentioned her work as a child care advocate. Her imprint in this work will have a ripple effect, I am sure. Her photo shows a lovely young woman. I grieve with you at her loss. My sweetest memory of Marcella was her kindness to our daughter, Becky.
In 2008, just before her 30th birthday, Becky passed on. Believe me, I know the sorrow you are feeling. What got me through those first awful days/months was knowing that God is good and He never makes a mistake. I hold on to St. Paul’s writing on death in the Bible, “Absent from the body, present with the Lord”. If there is anything I can do, please let me know. 2. Marcela had a great enthusiasm for life and those around her. I will always remember Marcela and how she reached out to me while I was going to college and at church in the Batavia Branch. She took balloons and released them and made lots of noise when my name was mentioned during my college commencement. She was a joy to be around. To her family and friends, please take comfort in all the fond memories you have of her.

  3. Marcela was a sweet and lovely young lady. I’ve know her since she was a little girl and watched her grow up. As of late, she was my Facebook and Farmville buddy. I will
truly miss you. I know you are in a better place and your suffering has ended. I send my deepest sympathy to Ligia, James and family. I loved Marcela.
