Livonia: September 5, 2014 at home at age 78. Predeceased by siblings; Carmello Muscato, Anne Genduso-Fox, Sarah LaDelfa, Thomas Muscato, Anthony Muscato, Mary D’Angelo, Samuel Muscato, and son-in-law Dale DuRoss. Survived by his wife of 48 years Patricia Muscato of Livonia. Children; Steven (Aimee, daughter Alyssa & granddaughter Autumn) Muscato of Livonia and Christine DuRoss of Henrietta. Grandson Brian John Muscato. Brother Frank Muscato of Mt. Morris, sister Louise Muscato of Ontario, brother-in-law Sterling (Elsie) Fox of Naples, and sister-in-law Sally Muscato of Hemlock. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

John was born on October 22, 1935 in Livonia Center, NY to parents Joseph & Jennie (Guarino) Muscato. He was employed by the 3M Company as a quality control supervisor for many years. He was a member at St. Matthew Catholic Church, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Friends may call on Sunday from 4-7pm at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 21 Big Tree Street, Rte 15 & 20A, Livonia. John’s Funeral Mass will be on Monday at 10:30am at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 6591 Richmond Mills Road, Livonia. Burial St. Michael’s Cemetery, Livonia. Now you need to. Tell stories and share pictures. They will help mend the broken hearts and make you laugh. He will always live in your hearts and always be with you.
