Honeoye: Sunday, April 6, 2014 at age 90 years at the MM Ewing Continuing Care Center in Canandaigua. She was born in Canadice, NY at the home of her parents Delevan and Violet (Wood) Alger on February 15, 1924. She was a lifetime member of the Eagle Star Chapter #350 in Honeoye. She was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Earl T. Goodman, in 1985. Also she was predeceased by siblings George and Ellis Alger & Alberta Clawson.

Surviving are sons Ronald (Joanne) Goodman of Bristol, NY, George (Sandra) Goodman of Mesa, Arizona, and daughter Brenda (James) Jensen of Penn Yan, NY. 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces & nephews, also a family friend Roger Fair of Rochester, NY.

Friends may call on Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 12-2pm at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 8624 Main Street, Honeoye, where services will follow calling at 2pm. Burial Lakeview Cemetery Honeoye.   2. I did not know Norma personally, but I wanted to express my deepest sympathy for your family. At times like this,I have personally found Jesus Christ’s words at John 5:28,29 to be truly comforting. There he promised that “the hour is coming when all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out…to a resurrection of life.” I look forward to the time when I can see my loved ones again so much.
