Kathleen M. Shoniker “Shonnie” “Kathy” – April 9, 2013

Leroy: April 9, 2013 at age 70 years. Survived by her children; Willard Jr. “Bud” (Tammy) Prevost of Leroy, Ann Francis (Tim) McGlashon of Scotia, Mary Anita (Martin Rehberg) Prevost of Groveland, and Timothy (Kimberly) Prevost of Moon Township, PA. Siblings; Patty Bowes of MA, Daniel (Peggy) Shoniker, Timothy (Barb) Shoniker, Mary Anne (Rick) Walker, and Michael (Mary Ann) Shoniker all of Rochester, NY. 10 Grandchildren; Jessica, Carl, Britany, Pat, Chelsea, Teresa, Willard III “Trey”, Linnea, Keira, and Xander. Nieces & Nephews, Aunts, Cousins, and many friends.

Kathleen was born on June 27, 1942 in Los Angeles, CA to parents Arnold and Anne (Burns) Shoniker. She was a true people person and always was there to be kind to others. She worked for many years at local bowling lanes including the Rose Garden Bowl in Bergen, NY. She has lived at the Village Square Senior Housing in Leroy, NY for the last several years. She will be missed by her family and friends.

At the request of Kathleen and her family there will be no calling hours and funeral services will be held privately. Memorial contributions may be made to the Girl Scouts of America, Western NY Chapter, 1000 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620. Arrangements entrusted to the Kevin W.   1. Annie, Mary Anita Bud and Tim; I am so very sorry for your loss. I know Kathy will be looking over you all as she always has in all the years that I’ve known her. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you and your family.

  7. We spent quite a few years doing Girl Scouts together, and enjoyed apinting apartments. She will be missed by many.
