  1. Aunt Nancy has been an ever present figure in our family and she will be forever missed. Fried green tomatoes, dandelion greens, and fields of daises. Our hearts are full of loss and love at the same time! So many memories, children’s secrets, summer spiders, parties, laughing and tears. We will miss you! Love you to the moon and back. Julie, Tom, Shelby, and Cameron.

  2. Aunt Nancy (my second mom), you will be greatly missed. Thank you for always listening and and helping me through tough times. When I was a little girl, I waited for your car to pull in the driveway so I could run over to your place and watch you cook dinner and tell all the “family secrets” – ha, ha, ha. There are so many good times and memories – thank you for every one of them!!!! Just last Saturday afternoon when you called for help, you had Jp and I just a laughing – sorry can’t share that one lol. The bi-yearly casino trips were a blast. Most of all…..thank you for helping us during our recent loss of our mom and your best friend. Those were very hard times for all of us “Backus” kids and you stepped in just like the “Mom” you were to all us kids even though you were going through your own loss. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

  3. Nancy Vonglis Famiy,

I have knowen Nancy for at least 15 years… I have heard her name all my life.. She was such a Great Grand Lady… Also she was a wonderful true friend. I loved seeing her at Church and was proud to call her my friend.. She will be deaply missed. I loved Co-Chairing our Euchre Tournament at The South Livonia United Church of Christ. Ressurection was on that day and she will now be with Our Father and Savior Jesus The Christ. Will always love and miss this wonderful great friend!!
